In times like these, the "Be Prepared" motto of the BSA Scouts is more relevant than ever. Fortunately, Troop 90 is here to help.
Membership in BSA Scouts provides numerous skills that are critical during times of crisis; Troop 90 has adjusted by shifting events outdoors with social distancing, good hand hygiene, and masks in place. We meet every Wednesday at 7 p.m., earlier in the evening so that Scouts can learn outdoors.
BSA emphasizes outdoor skills and Troop 90 reinforces them through socially distanced hikes and swimming opportunities like Camp Sequassen. Troop 90 has 30 active Scouts ranging from Scout to Eagle. We have over 10 adult advisors that are certified as adult leaders. Troop 90 adults lead many of the merit badges earned by the Scouts including Citizenship, Emergency Preparedness, First Aid, Game Design, and Personal Fitness to name a few.
Interested? Cub Scout experience is not required. The Scouts BSA program is open to all boys and girls that are at least 11 years old. Any current or former Cub Scouts that have earned their Arrow of Light are also eligible.
